In the first 10 months of this year, Kunshan's newly registered capital from foreign investors reached $2.8 billion, up 17.1% year-on-year, and investment from domestic investors climbed 33.2% year-on-year to nearly 140 billion yuan.

From May to October this year, Kunshan saw the newly registered foreign and domestic capital of $1.02 billion and 120 billion yuan respectively, up 46.8% and 80.6% year-on-year. In particular, the growth of projects with domestic investment of more than 100 million yuan was 32.3 percentage points higher than the first half of the year.

Kunshan has held four online investment promotion activities, which signed 28 key industrial projects with a total investment of more than 29 billion yuan. On November 17, Kunshan also sent an investment promotion team to Japan, first face-to-face meeting with potential Japanese investors in nearly three years.
