Researchers in Jiangsu have contributed to the successful launch of China's Shenzhou-15 manned spaceship atop the Long March-2F Y15 carrier rocket on November 29.

CETC 55th Research Institute in Nanjing developed a variety of microwave diodes to support signal transmission and reception, which can work stably and play an important role in several stages.

The pressure sensor and motor driver used were produced in Suzhou High-tech Zone.

Staff members at Jiangsu Yongsheng Air Conditioner Co Ltd were also excited to see the successful launch as this company helped in installation of plants for satellite test.

In addition, research teams from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics provided technical support to optimize the design of the spacecraft parachute system. The teams helped achieve the precise and rapid manufacturing of lightweight parts for the capsule's better impact-resistance and thermal-insulation.
