A total of 32 enterprises from Jiangsu Province are participating in the 3-day World Trade Expo Azerbaijan virtually starting on October 27.

The opening ceremony also unveiled the Jiangsu Brand Silk Road Expo (Lianyungang), organized by the Jiangsu provincial chapter and Lianyungang municipal chapter of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

Azerbaijan is located in the heart of the Eurasian continent, an important country along the ancient Silk Road and a transportation hub connecting Europe and Asia. From January to August this year, Jiangsu's foreign trade with Azerbaijan amounted to nearly 337 million yuan, a year-on-year growth of 15.7%.

Some 80 Chinese exhibitors were invited to participate in the country's trade fair remotely, among which more than 33% are from Jiangsu.
