The number of Jiangsu's international freight train trips reached 1,471 in the first nine months, a year-on-year growth of 17%.

The Jiangsu Export Exhibition and Trade Centre was inaugurated in Tilburg in June this year, which marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands.

Based on the freight train service linking Nanjing and Tilburg, the center will be a comprehensive hub of the coastal province to hold exhibitions, promote trade and e-commerce, and facilitate warehousing, logistics and distribution.

The Nanjing-Tilburg route, the second trade route between China and Europe, has recorded 24 train trips and 1,990 TEUs in both directions since its inauguration in May 2021. By the end of June 2022, the total market value of goods transported through the route had reached $126 million.
