Nanjing donated 840 books to Sun Yat-sen Institute at the Chinese Cultural Center in Panama on October 10.
Nearly 30 people attended the donation ceremony including representatives from the Embassy of China in Panama, the Department of Culture and Education of Panama City.
Nanjing and Panama City entered into sister-city cooperation in July 2021. As part of the cultural exchange, Nanjing's Foreign Affairs Office and Department of Education donated 840 Chinese textbooks to the school.
In 2019, Nanjing governmentdonated more than 1,500 books to Panama.
