Jiangsu has ten winners on the list of China’s top 100 biomedical industrial parks, according to a report released by CCID Consulting, a firm affiliated with a think tank under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Suzhou Industrial Park

Jiangsu now boasts the largest number of such parks among province-level regions in the country, with the parks in Suzhou and Taizhou ranked 2nd and 10th respectively.

Suzhou Industrial Park and Suzhou National Hi-Tech District made to the list of top 10 industrial clusters in the country, and parks in Nanjing and Wuxi were recognized for innovation performance. The park in Nantong became one of ten top performers in terms of traffic convenience.

In recent years, Jiangsu has made biomedical industry as one of development priorities, introducing a series of measures to facilitate research and technology application and also increasing the support to innovation facilitators. Suzhou Industrial Park and Taizhou Medical High-tech Industrial Development Zone have become the hubs of pharmaceutical enterprises, driving the sector’s high-quality development in the province.
