A new air freight route linking Huai’an City in East China’s Jiangsu Province and Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam was launched on May 28.

The airport’s first international freight route marked a milestone of its rise into a regional cargo hub. It’s expected to promote the city’s trade with Vietnam and the ASEAN region, help local enterprises to tap into the international market, and facilitate imports and exports as well as the cross-border e-commerce.

Zhongzhou Airlines, a cargo carrier based at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, operates the new route with a Boeing 737-300, with two flights per week now and three flights planned in the future.
