Epidemic prevention materials donated by Huai’an City including 40,000 masks and thermometer guns have been air-freighted to Wanju-gun in South Korea, Ikoma in Japan, and Maribor in Slovenia to help fights against COVID-19.

The supplies for Huai’an’s international sister city Wanju-gun were 10,000 masks and on the packaging boxes was written “Cheer up, Wanju-gun” in Chinese and Korean.

Huai’an wants to give back to International communities, represented by Wanju-gun and Ikoma, which offered timely assistance to the city, when the epidemic began to spread.

While the domestic situation is improving, the outbreak globally is looking grim. Huai’an will continue offering a helping hand and support international friendship cities in hard-hit countries such as Italy, Germany and Hungary.
