The first 5G-based unmanned container truck, developed by Yancheng branch of China Mobile and Jiangsu Guorun New Energy Commercial Vehicle, has been delivered.
Port management faces the challenge of vehicle dispatch. To address the problem, Yancheng branch, the telecom operator’s Shanghai Industry Research Institute and Guorun collaborated to provide a cloud solution based on 5G network, which supports intelligent data processing and path planning in line with the port’s operation environment.
Following the successful delivery, more efforts will be made to improve the smart port management.
