The Hurun Research Institute released the Hurun China Top 100 Districts with the Most Investment Potential 2020 in Liyang City in Jiangsu Province on December 6.

Liyang ranked 11th in the list and 8th in the category of sustainable development.

Hurun made a comprehensive evaluation of 570 regions across the country to produce the list. It also selected 10 winners from five dimensions-economy, population, sustainability, technological innovation and culture.

Liyang has been included to pilot the modernization drive in the province. The city also runs eight national pioneering initiatives including the urban-rural integration program sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission and a demonstration of new type of urbanization.
