Taizhou Municipal Government and Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC) signed an agreement on December 7 to establish a biomedical innovation center in the city’s Medical High-tech Zone.

With full support of Taizhou, PKUHSC’s departments and affiliated hospitals will pool resources to development the new center. The two sides will carry out strategic cooperation in clinical trials, talent training and exchange, and commercialization of research results.

Efforts will be made to enhance the competitiveness and influence in the international biomedical industry. A committee will also be established to coordinate and cope with major issues in the cooperation process.
