Jiangsu Provincial Department of Natural Resources held a symposium on April 22 to mark the 52nd World Earth Day and also announced winners in promoting public understanding of science.
In addition to the meeting, Jiangsu will also organize a series of events from April 18 to 24, such as lectures and quizzes, to inspire people’s understanding and protection of our shared homeland.
World Earth Day, which falls on April 22 annually, aims to raise public awareness about the environment and calls for people to protect the Earth with action. This year’s theme is "Restore Our Earth".
