The second Yangtze Finless Porpoise Protection Day was held on Jiangxinzhou islet of the Yangtze River in Nanjing City on October 24.
Organized by Saving Yangtze Finless Porpoise Alliance, the event attracted the participation of over 300 people from research institutes, protected areas, enterprises, NGOs and media outlets.
The event included an introduction of policy, a forum, exchange of protection efforts, trainings and workshops. It has showcased fully the current conservation program, research and community engagement in the initiative.
