The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently announced 79 key projects for 2025, with a total investment of 100.416 billion yuan, including 22.653 billion yuan allocated for the year.
These 79 projects align with major national strategies, including the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, and the construction of the Grand Canal cultural belt, as well as the long-term planning for the cultural and tourism development in the province.
From the perspective of project location, there is a clear trend of integrated and balanced regional development in Jiangsu. Of the 79 projects, 40 are located in the province’s five southern cities, 23 in the central cities, and 16 in the northern cities.
The department said Jiangsu will further enhance its follow-up services for these projects, monitor their progress timely, and facilitate the linking of industrial and financial resources amid efforts to support the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism sectors.
