Robotex International, a world leading robotics competition, will hold the finals for its Asia division at the Nanjing International Exhibition Center from October 4 to 5.

The competition was inaugurated by Tallinn University of Technology and the University of Tartu in 2001. Over the years, it has been held in 23 countries, including Germany, India, Japan, Finland and France, making it the largest and longest-running top-tier robotics event.

Since its debut in China in 2017, Robotex has hosted over 30 events annually. In July 2022, the China finals of the 21st edition took place at the center, with over 5,000 contestants competing on-site.

The upcoming Asia finals will feature 21 events, including the popular Robot Fighting Time event. Participants are required to independently develop and manufacture wheel-type robots, and engage in remote-controlled battles.
