Relics spanning thousands of years exhibited in Wuxi

An exhibition of cultural relics and archaeological achievements in Central China and lower basin of the Yangtze River, opened at Wuxi Museum on March 5.

It displays 110 pieces and sets of exquisite relics from the Xia, Shang and Zhou periods (2070-256 BC) unearthed in the two regions, showing the historical links and splendid achievements during the integration and development of civilizations in the Yellow River and the Yangtze River.

The Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties saw the making of many elegant and exquisite bronze vessels. Wuxi, the core area of the birthplace of Wu culture, is a national historical and cultural city with beautiful natural scenery and rich historical heritage.
