The 2025 Belt and Road Youth Sports Exchange Week (Jiangsu) kicked off in Jiangyin, Wuxi City on May 21, bringing together nearly 500 young participants from 66 countries and regions.
This event features a 3×3 basketball invitational, an outdoor challenge and an orienteering training camp, all aimed at fostering friendships and school connections.
A Tanzanian PhD student at Nanjing Agricultural University said the event provides a valuable platform for international students to share cultures, build friendships, and promote solidarity and peace.
As a key hub of the Belt and Road Initiative, Jiangsu has leveraged its strategic location, strong economy, and abundant education and research resources to maintain close exchanges with countries and regions involved in the initiative.
