Nanjing hosted the elite final of the Global AI Challenge 2022 from October 26 to 28.
The event was organized by Jiangsu Association of Artificial Intelligence, Huawei Consumer Cloud Service Department and Huawei Nanjing Research Center.

Originally debuted in China in 2019, the challenge has become an important international contest in the field of artificial intelligence. More than 20,000 people from over 900 colleges and universities in 45 countries and regions have participated in the competition. Since its launch in June, the latest edition had the participation of 3,740 student teams from 472 schools.
Professor Zhang Minling from the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Southeast University, also one of the judges of the competition, said that students majoring in artificial intelligence need to have a strong foundation in mathematics, engineering and logical thinking. This challenge will help students learn more about the cutting-edge technologies of AI and actual requirements of enterprise.
