Yancheng City opened a summer travel program and a camping carnival at the Dazong Lake campsite on July 1.
The opening ceremony highlighted the city’s key tourist attractions, cultural and tourism zones, museums, and popular camping sites. For example, the Chinese Milu Park, the Red-Crowned Crane Wetland and Eco-park, and the Huanghai Forest Park will all have series of activities to improve the experience of visitors.
Local residents also welcomed the travel program. Liu Chengli said she will bring her daughter to enjoy the lake’s beautiful view after she just completed the entrance test for middle school admission.
Other visitors also praised the amenities at the venue are ideal for families. Visitor Huang Tianyun, who drove for one hour from Tinghu District to visit the lake’s campsite, said the place is quite fun.
