Many of Jiangsu’s cultural venues and museums have actively offered online services while on-site visits are suspended to curb the spread of COVID-19.
The Nanjing Municipal Museum, the Jiangning Imperial Silk Manufacturing Museum and the Yangzhou Museum have launched special online exhibitions. Websites and WeChat public accounts have also been used to promote online education and livestreaming.

The Nanjing Folk Museum runs an online course of intangible cultural heritage, and the Oriental Metropolitan Museum offers three courses for students of different ages.
The Xuzhou Museum also unveiled innovative posters entitled "What if the relics ware masks", reminding the public to stay alert in the pandemic prevention and control.

In addition, 22 staff members of the Yangzhou Museum became volunteers to contribute to COVID-19 response. Volunteers from the Nanjing Museum and the Oriental Metropolitan Museum played active roles on the frontline, such as helping measure temperatures, maintain order and transport supplies.
During the many rounds of nucleic acid testing, the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders in Nanjing opened space for testing and helped in the site management. The Jiangning Imperial Silk Manufacturing Museum also organized volunteers to assist the testing work.
