The Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou high-speed railway entered the phase of static acceptance on August 6, marking the basic completion of the construction works for the main body of the railway line and its supporting project.
Static acceptance is an important part of the quality inspection process for high-speed railways in China. It includes inspections of technical documents, construction quality records, and systems for communication signals, power supply, and customer service facilities.
As a key project in the high-speed railway network across the Yangtze River Delta, the railway starts from Shanghai Hongqiao Station, passes through Suzhou in Jiangsu Province, and ends in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. It includes eight stations, with a total length of approximately 163 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Construction of the railway began on June 5, 2020.
