More than 20 enterprises from Jiangsu Province participated in the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), the world's first national exhibition focused on supply chains, held in Beijing from November 28 to December 2.
The province’s exhibitors represented five fields: smart cars, green agriculture, clean energy, digital technology, and the health and lifestyle. Tianyi Aviation Industry, the only company from Jiangsu’s civil aviation sector, showcased three ground support equipment (GSE) units capable of unmanned driving and remote operation.
One food vehicle has been retrofitted with sensors such as LIDAR and millimeter-wave radar to collect environmental data, thus enhancing the safety and efficiency of its operation, according to Ding Yanchao, chief engineer of the company's Science and Innovation Center.
Nanjing Iron and Steel, the only steel company among over 500 exhibitors at the 5-day event, highlighted its digital transformation and innovative measures to become a digital service provider. For instance, it is the first company worldwide to launch a smart factory, powered by 5G and industrial internet, for deep processing of high-strength and abrasion-resistant steel.
In addition, the CISCE featured Arctech Solar, a leading manufacturer and supplier of intelligent solar trackers. Arctech was the world’s first PV company to own wind tunnel laboratory in 2021. By the end of last year, it had supplied products to nearly 1,500 projects across 40 countries and regions.
