The 2023 Cross-Strait Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded at Changzhou West Taihu Lake S&T Industrial Park on August 25.

The event attracted 153 projects from Taiwan and mainland regions, including Shanghai, Chongqing, Anhui and Fujian. The projects are primarily in the fields of electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, healthcare and medicine, new energy, new materials, modern agriculture, and modern service industry.

Of the total entries, 120 projects were shortlisted in the competition, with contestants averaging 38 years of age. In addition, 102 contestants came from the island, and it was the first time for 35 of them to visit the mainland.

The competition invited more than 30 investment organizations and 30 youth innovation bases and industrial parks to facilitate interactions between investors and project teams.
