The 2023 Jiangsu Digital Countryside Development Conference will be held at the Nanjing International Expo and Convention Center from June 19 to 20.
The conference, jointly organized by the Cyberspace Administration Office under the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and the province's Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, aims to promote the digital transformation of Jiangsu's countryside and advance the comprehensive rural vitalization.
Representatives from government departments, industrial associations and research institutes will attend the meeting together with experts from home and abroad as well as business leaders.
The conference will showcase the achievements of rural digital transformation, facilitate exchanges, provide platform for supply and demand matching, and discuss new development paths and models for the countryside by leveraging digital technologies.
Leading enterprises will also introduce their innovation and technological breakthroughs in the field of rural vitalization from multiple perspectives, including IT infrastructure development, digital governance and transformation of the agricultural industry.
During the conference, the requirements for digital rural construction in Jiangsu this year will be announced, and a ceremony for signing major projects will take place. Additionally, the province's agricultural and rural Big Data cloud platform will be launched.
The conference will include a number of parallel events, such as the 2023 China (Jiangsu) Digital Agriculture Development Meeting, the Rural Digital Governance and Services Meeting, and the Agricultural Industry Digital Transformation Meeting.
Furthermore, the 2023 China (Nanjing) Digital Village Expo will be held from June 19 to 21, alongside with the 7th China (Nanjing) International Intelligent Agriculture Expo, which will attract more than 500 enterprises. The expo will focus on new technologies and equipment for smart agriculture, such as the leading Internet of Things solutions, agricultural AI + Big Data, and intelligent irrigation.
