Xuzhou Port handled a historic high of 21,100 TEUs of containers in March, an increase of 28.85% year-on-year, and this is also the first time in nearly a year that the port's monthly container throughput exceeded 20,000 TEUs.

Xuzhou Port's container throughput from January to March totaled 56,300 TEUs, up 30.34% year-on-year.

In recent years, Xuzhou Port has been taking advantage of multimodal transportation, combining the use of railways, roads and waterways, and increasing cooperation with enterprises, freight forwarders and shipping companies. Additionally, Xuzhou has strengthened efforts to develop the market for long-distance container transport, and the waterway transport volume has maintained a stable growth.
