The China (Nanjing) International E-Commerce Industry Expo opened on March 22 at Nanjing International Exhibition Center, attracting more than 400 exhibitors from various fields, such as consumer electronics, clothing and accessories, smart home, beauty and personal care, and outdoor products.
As the city’s first cross-border e-commerce industry expo, it announced important achievements, including the RCEP experts pool initiative by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and a financial guarantee system for cross-border e-commerce.
The exhibition will last until March 24.
In recent years, China's cross-border e-commerce has developed rapidly and become the world's largest. The sector has also become a strategic industry in Nanjing to promote foreign trade development. The city has built five provincial and municipal-level industrial parks, nurtured over 1,000 enterprises, and formed a complete e-commerce ecosystem.
In 2022, the city’s cross-border e-commerce volume hit 36.1 billion yuan, a 15% increase year-on-year, accounting for more than 40% of the province’s total.
