Taicang Port handled 218,700 vehicles in the first nine months this year.
The car throughput in September reached 33,700, with 22,500 being exported, both hitting a record high.

Located at the south bank of the Yangtze River estuary, Taicang Port has a shoreline of 38.8 kilometers and a navigable depth of 12.5 meters. It's a major container port in the north wing of Shanghai International Shipping Center and the most robust one for foreign trade in Jiangsu.
By the end of 2021, Taicang Port had built and put into operation 95 berths, including 40 berths for vessels with 10,000 tonnes deadweight (DWT) and above. In 2021, the container throughput of Taicang Port hit 7 million TEUs, ranking the 25th in the world.
