Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding delivered a 15,000 TEU containership to Seaspan in Taicang City on October 12, the largest container vessel ever built in shipyards along the mainstream of the Yangtze River this year.
The vessel is 366 meters long and 51 meters wide, with a deck area equal to 2.6 standard football fields. Equipped with advanced environmental protection facilities and an automatic berthing system, it is the latest mega container ship suitable for global routes.
