A new industrial park for developing smart technologies and innovation officially opened in Wujiang District of Suzhou City on the morning of March 19, adding a new platform to boost technical integration of the Yangtze River Delta.
The park, with space for office, R&D, production and public service, will focus on introducing and incubating leading projects in the next-generation IT, 5G industry chain, high-end and intelligent equipment manufacturing and digital transformation of traditional enterprises. It will help improve Wujiang’s environment for innovation and entrepreneurship and aims to develop itself into a role model in attracting global talent.
The opening ceremony also unveiled six enterprises including Suzhou Tianlian Communication Technology that have settled in the park. Eight agencies including Bondshine Capital became the park’s partners for talent and innovation services. China CITIC Bank and Bank of Ningbo both agreed to set up a credit line of 1 billion yuan for the park. Detong Capital, operator of the park and four companies including Suzhou OKN Technology signed an investment cooperation agreement. In addition, China University S&T Achievements Transformation Center (East China) and Wujiang entered into an agreement framework for developing the delta’s international talent development center.
