Five more companies from Changzhou City have been recognized in the fifth batch of national manufacturing industry leaders in standalone fields, bringing the city’s total number of the title winners to 18, the highest in Jiangsu Province.
The recognition was released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and China Federation of Industrial Economics. It’s a list of enterprises and products designated as market leaders or top performers in the manufacturing industry.
The five new winners in Changzhou are Jiangsu Shangshang Cable Group, Huapeng Transformer, Wujin Stainless, Almaden, and Wanbang Dehe. Changzhou had the second largest number of winners in Jiangsu in this batch.
According to the city’s Department of Industry and Information Technology, Changzhou has made efforts to promote development of industry leaders and build itself into a vibrant hub of smart manufacturing. To win the national honor, Changzhou has supported companies to improve the capacity building in innovation and professionalism to strengthen the core competitiveness.
