Space-orientated intelligent applications compete for grand prize in Nanjing

The award ceremony for an innovation and entrepreneurship competition in the field of space-orientated intelligent applications was held in Nanjing’s Qixia District on December 27.

Guided by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, this competition was jointly organized by the Jiangsu and Nanjing chapters of the federation, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, and local government in Qixia.

The competition lasted for more than two months and received 79 entries including 30 projects from enterprises and the rest from universities. Twelve projects entered the finals after two rounds of selection.

A project to apply the 77 GHz-band millimeter-wave radar for autonomous driving took home the Grand Prize.
