China’s first international exhibition center for medical supplies started the trial operation in Nanjing on December 28.

Jointly built by Nanjing Healthcare Security Administration and Pukou District Government, the exhibition hall has a construction area of about 24,000 square meters with four floors.

The first three floors are mainly for exhibition and experience, including a show of supplies helpful to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Leading companies showcased their products and services mainly on the second floor. The Chinese Medicine Exhibition Zone allows visitors to have a better understanding of Chinese herbs, treatment and equipment in interactive ways. Visitors can also learn about a great variety of medical devices, such as for rehabilitation wheelchair, and simulation of surgery, critical care and MRI examinations.

With two conference rooms of 350 square meters, the third floor is an ideal venue for enterprises to engage in business negotiations.

The fourth floor houses the Pharmaceutical Data Monitoring Centre and the Pharmaceutical Price Negotiation Centre. The data monitoring center is the first regulatory platform in China to record the whole business process of medical consumables, from bidding to procurement, distribution, settlement and payment.
