Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou in Jiangsu Province held the second meeting to promote intercity integrated development on November 24.
The three cities also released an initiative to develop a S&T innovation belt centered on the Taihu Bay so it can lead the innovation-driven growth in southern Jiangsu and rise into an iconic tech hub in the Yangtze River Delta.
The three cities pledged to be committed to integration and new development progress based on coordinated innovation. They will also align each other’s development strategies so as to improve the innovation capacity at the regional level. A systematic approach will also be adopted to build a vibrant entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
The three cities also signed cooperation agreements about the application of social credit system, coordinated S&T innovation, and comprehensive transportation development.
