The Suzhou area of the Jiangsu Pilot Free Trade Zone opened a dedicated data channel to link with Singapore on October 21, the first of its kind in China to support foreign trade.

The opening ceremony featured biomedical companies that will benefit from the new data service. The point-to-point international data channel can help hundreds of foreign trade companies and effectively address many problems such as network delay, bit error rate and packet loss.

This data channel will also support the development of cloud computing, Big Data, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and other industries in the Suzhou area.
