The high-tech development zone in Hai’an City, Jiangsu Province officially became home to a smart power station equipment project between Cambodia and China on June 5.
The project, jointly invested by EDC in Cambodia and Jiangsu Yawei Transformer Co. Ltd., will be mainly producing equipment for smart power station, with an estimated revenue of one billion yuan.
Since the start of this year, the development zone has tried new ways to attract investment from overseas, such as through online efforts. In the first four months this year, it received the paid-in foreign investment of $56.43 million and achieved foreign trade of 1.29 billion yuan. It also hosted two five-billion-yuan investment projects, three two-billion-yuan projects and two $100 million projects.
