The Jiangbei New Area, Qixia, Pukou and Luhe districts in Nanjing City held the launch ceremony to build major projects on March 8.

Nearly 90 percent of the 122 projects, which have a total investment of 173.14 billion yuan, are in industrial sector and related to S&T innovation.

Jiangbei boasts 41 projects with a total investment of 76.81 billion yuan, including 17 in high-end manufacturing, 13 related to S&T innovation, 7 in the service sector and the rest 4 about urban and infrastructure.

The 38 projects located in Qixia District, Nanjing Economic Development Zone and Xialin University Town involve a total investment of 45.5 billion yuan.The 22 projects in Pukou District and 21 projects in Luhe District involve a total investment of 26.8 billion yuan and 24.03 billion yuan, respectively.
