Lianyungang’s platform for verifying and mutually recognizing digital Certificate Authority (CA) certificates in the procurement process has been officially connected to the China Tendering and Bidding Public Service Platform, marking a national first.

A CA certificate, issued by an authoritative body, is used to verify the authenticity and integrity of an identity, typically ensuring the safety of network communications and data transmission.

The mutual recognition applies to bidders, tenderers and bidding agencies. It supports nationwide access as well as document preparation, signing, encryption and decryption. The online platform ensures security, improves the efficiency of electronic transactions, and reduces transaction costs in the bidding and tendering procedures.
