Amid progress in the COVID-19 prevent and control, Jiangsu Province has now moved to resume production and normal life.

On April 20, a crawler crane lifted a 70-tonne equipment and then moved it to a site at Pier 14 of the Changzhou-Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge, which integrates an expressway, an ordinary highway and an inter-city railway on the river. The new bridge will play an important role in improving the delta’s transport network and supporting development of Wuxi, Changzhou and Taizhou cities.

In Xuzhou City, efforts are underway to accelerate the construction of Xuzhou Metro Line 6. The Industrial Park for Environmental Science & Technology in Yixing City has also kicked off a ceramic capacitor and intelligent sensor manufacturing project with a total investment of 10.3 billion yuan.

Gradually, nightlife is back in some cities including Lianyungang and Nanjing. The Nanjing Museum and the Nanjing Library have also reopened amid strict epidemic response measures.
