The 11th plenary session of the 13th CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee was held in Nanjing on Nov.18.

The meeting adopted the resolution to study and implement the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the resolution on the report of the 13th CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and the report on the Party work by the Committee’s standing committee. It also decided that the 14th CPC Jiangsu Provincial Congress will be held in Nanjing from November 24 to 27.

The meeting stressed the importance of deeply understanding the Party’s mission to seek happiness for the Chinese people as well as the major achievements and historical experience of the Party over the past century, especially the successful practices of advancing the development in the new era.

In the past five years, the province has made steadfast efforts to promote high-quality development, proactively responded to the complex and fast-changing international situation and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, built a well-off society of a higher standard in an all-round way, and laid a solid foundation for comprehensive modernization.

According to the meeting, the province will coordinate COVID-19 response and economic and social development, integrate development and security, combine economic growth with livelihood progress, ensure the social security and stability, and accomplish the economic and social development tasks this year.
