Jiangsu has released an action plan to accelerate the high-quality manufacturing development for the low-altitude industry, according to the province’s Department of Industry and Information Technology on January 16.

This sector mainly covers the research and manufacturing of low-altitude aircraft and information infrastructure, which are of great importance to provide solid foundations for the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy and serve as key drivers for fostering new economic strengths.

The action plan proposes to establish a manufacturing innovation hub and set up pilot platforms for the manufacturing sector. The province’s efforts will focus on key areas such as flight control systems, power systems, sensors, aviation materials, low-altitude intelligent networks, and business platforms.

Additionally, research institutions will receive support to build their R&D, production, and operation centers in Jiangsu, facilitating the transition to innovative manufacturing parks.
