Nanjing is seeking public feedback on a draft plan to increase airport land area in Jiangbei New Area, aimed at promoting the high-quality development of its low-altitude economy.
This plan focuses on Pukou District, recently designated as one of Jiangsu Province’s two pilot development zones for the low-altitude economy. Pukou has successfully obtained a temporary drone flight area spanning over 600 square kilometers to support test flights and operations for drone operators from Nanjing and the surrounding regions.
The draft plan involves a land area of approximately 172.79 hectares, primarily for research, design, and commercial use.
