Jiangsu has become the first province in China to host over 10 million individual industrial and commercial households, as announced on May 6 during a press reference on fostering a world-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based and internationalized.

In response to the needs of market players, Jiangsu has released measures designed to boost economic recovery, support the private sector, and enhance the foreign investment environment.

Jiangsu has also improved services for business startups through initiatives like government-bank collaborative loans and preferential loans, and enacted regional law on promotion and protection of foreign investment.

Notably, the province ranks among the top in the national assessments for seven consecutive years through enhancing the efficiency and capacity of the government services.
