The Oriental Metropolitan Museum and Nanjing Metro organized a transportation-themed exhibition at Maqun Station starting Feb 1, offering unique cultural experiences to passengers.

The exhibition showcases the evolution of transportation, featuring the ancient warship from the Three Kingdoms period (220-280 AD), a treasure ship in Zheng He’s fleet during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), an internal combustion locomotive from the early years of the People’s Republic of China, and modern urban rail transit.

Notably, the exhibition includes child-friendly games to spark their interest in the transportation technology and culture.

The exhibition will run until February 29.
