China to meet Indonesia after defeating Denmark in Sudirman Cup

China defeated Denmark 5:0 to secure first place in Group A at the 2023 BWF Sudirman Cup Finals in Suzhou on May 18 and will meet Indonesia in the quarterfinals scheduled on May 19.

The badminton's world championships in mixed team are utilizing a four-group, 16-team format. Two teams from each group advanced to the quarterfinals. Following two days of competition, the quarterfinal matchups will be Chinese Taipei vs. Korea, Thailand vs. Japan, China vs. Indonesia and Denmark vs. Malaysia, taking place in two sessions on May 19.

The semifinals are set to take place on May 20, followed by the final on May 21.
