Suzhou International Youth Painting Contest, organized by Suzhou Foreign Affairs Office and Federation of Literary and Art Circles, was held recently at Tafi Viejo, Tucuman province of Argentina.
More than 30 kids participated in the drawing event Gardens in the Eyes of Children and learned about Suzhou's classical gardens.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Argentina. With the recommendation of the consulate general of Argentina in Shanghai in early 2021, Suzhou and Tucuman expressed the hope to develop friendly exchanges.

With a population of 1.448 million, Tucuman is the most densely populated province in Argentina. It has the country's second largest airport and is a hub of logistics, commerce and export. Tucuman is also the center of science and technology, education and culture in northwestern Argentina. The province has six nature reserves and some of the remains of the Inca Trail, a UNESCO world heritage that spans several countries.
