Nanjing hosts 2024 WIPO-China Summer School on Intellectual Property

The 2024 WIPO-China Summer School on Intellectual Propertyopened at Nanjing University of Science and Technology on July 8.

Focusing on "Digital Economy and Global Intellectual Property Governance," the program attracts 143 participants, including university students and professionals in the intellectual property field from countries such as France, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.

Co-hosted by WIPO, the United Nations agency that serves the world’s innovators and creators, and Nanjing University of Science and Technology, the program is held in hybrid format, with a mix of in-person classes and virtual classes to cover theoretical and practical IP issues. This session integrates a variety of methodologies including lectures, case studies, simulation exercises, and group discussions.
