Shanghai New Sky Helicopter Co., Ltd. launched an air taxi service on August 10, operating between Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Kunshan City Terminal.
The flight from the city terminal to the airport takes about 30 minutes, significantly reducing commuting time compared to other travel options. The service is expected to serve over 20,000 passenger trips annually.
Passenger transport is considered a crucial component of the low-altitude economy. In the future, Shanghai plans to open new routes to Taicang, Wujiang and other areas of the Yangtze River Delta region.
