From January to November this year, the output value of Jiangsu’s construction industry reached 4.19 trillion yuan, with the growth rate rising by 0.5 percentage points compared to the January-October period.
The construction industry continues to grow in the costal province, though the pace of growth has slowed.
Jiangsu is prioritizing intelligent transformation as a key driver for the industry’s high-quality development. Focusing on key projects and market players across the industrial chain, this initiative promotes the adoption of smart technologies and the faster transition from traditional practices to modern approaches.
Currently, Jiangsu is preparing for its 2025 Green and Low-Carbon Building International Expo, which will feature a zone dedicated to the industry’s intelligent transformation. More than 20 enterprises will showcase cutting-edge technological achievements in design, equipment, building components, management, and full life-cycle operations and maintenance.
The province is also accelerating efforts to advance the first batch of smart construction pilot projects. By the end of 2025, half of the major engineering projects in Jiangsu will adopt smart construction technologies, and the province aims to cultivate more than 30 leading enterprises in this initiative.
