Jiangsu has 89 companies included on the 2024 list of China’s top 500 private enterprises, along with 13 companies on the list of top 100 private-owned service enterprises, released by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province on October 12.
According to the ACFIC, the entry threshold for the top 500 private enterprise is 26.312 billion yuan.
In the coastal province, Hengli Group has ranked first among manufacturing enterprises for three consecutive years. The companies from Jiangsu are represented by both manufacturing and service sectors, highlighting the diversity and strength of the province’s private economy.
The Jiangsu companies on the list reported a total operating revenue of 6.1 trillion yuan, total assets of 3.81 trillion yuan, total profits of 167.731 billion yuan, and total exports of $46.213 billion. Ten companies boast annual operating revenues exceeding 100 billion yuan.
Geographically, 8 companies from northern Jiangsu made the list, an increase of 2 compared to the previous year. The list also includes 11 companies from central Jiangsu and 70 companies from southern Jiangsu.
