Suzhou City held an opening ceremony of key industrial projects on February 23 along with a networking activity between banks and enterprises.

In the first quarter of this year, Suzhou plans to launch 385 industrial projects, each worth more than 100 million yuan, with a total investment of 249 billion yuan.

Among the newly launched projects, 86.6% are related to strategic emerging industries and advanced manufacturing, covering fields such as electronic information, equipment manufacturing, biomedicine and advanced materials.

Suzhou has utilized its major projects to drive stable economic and social development. Kunshan City, under the administration of Suzhou, has attracted major investment from Coca-Cola, Goodyear, and Yiheda this year. In addition, the city is striving to host at least 3 new projects worth 5 billion yuan.

Focusing on emerging industries, infrastructure, people's livelihood, ecological and environmental protection, Suzhou unveiled a financing innovation base for major projects, among which 21 projects were signed by banks and enterprises together.
